Gel press printing is wonderfully unpredictable. No two prints are ever the same, and that's exactly the point. You couldn't control it if you wanted to, and sitting with that is where something interesting begins.
Working with botanicals invites a particular kind of attention — to the detail of form, the intricacy of structure, the quiet complexity of the living world. A way of honouring what is already here.
In this workshop you'll make gel prints of mixed botanicals, then work those prints into a collage. An exploration of curiosity, possibility, and the unexpected — and the particular freedom that comes from releasing attachment to the outcome, and making room for loving what comes.
All materials are provided. No experience necessary. Just bring yourself and a desire to let go.
