A$0.00

Next date TBC — add to cart or send an email for the workshop waiting list, or subscribe to the newsletter for this and other workshop updates.

Location: Living Space Studio Gallery
6 Forrest Avenue Newhaven (next to Island Healing)

Price: $40 Full / $30 Concession (Health Care Card)
$30 Children and Young People (under 16 years)

Spend an afternoon with Alisoun and Camille, making your own linocuts, and reflecting, if you wish, on what holds and what goes.

A linocut begins with a simple process of making choices. Choosing an image you want to hold onto. Cutting away what you don't want. Deciding what to keep. Discovering what emerges with each print.

Once carved, your plate can keep giving. You can print it again and again, with each impression carrying your chosen mark forward and offering something slightly different.

Take your prints home, perhaps to frame or to share as cards or gifts. You can also keep your plate for future printing sessions, whenever you feel like creating with it afresh for yourself, or for making new points of connection with the people around you.

All materials are provided. No experience necessary. Just bring yourself and a desire to make some marks.
